Wet nappies at night

Do you find that your little one is going through their nappy at night?

Here are our top tips for how to deal with this:

For younger babies -

  • Try to spread out the feed before bed, by doing a split feed they might have already done a wee from it before they go to bed.

  • If they’re still waking in the night for feeds change them half way through a feed.

  • Consider going up a nappy size or two for overnight nappies.

  • If they’re still going through a larger nappy try doubling up and putting two nappies on - cut a few holes in the inside nappy so the wetness can spread between the two nappies.

For older babies/toddlers -

  • Again, offer any milk before bed at the start of the bedtime routine.

  • If potty trained, have them go to the loo before bed.

  • If they do wake at all in the night, change them.

  • Invest in some night nappies - they make a big difference and are worth the extra money - trust us.

  • Consider the doubling up again.
